Fragrance gradually released and persistent (optimal after around 20 minutes).The wax and perfume are certified without CMR (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, Reproduction Toxic Substances). In the traditional French style of fragrance production, there is no Benzene, Formaldehyde or Acrolein in our candles.

When using the candle for the first time, leave it to burn for 2 or 3 hours, until all the wax has become liquid on the surface. Regularly cut the wick with a wick trimmer (ideal length 3-5 mm). Be sure to center the wick in the wax after each use for consistent consumption of the wax. To extinguish the candle, it is recommended you use a lid or snuffer to avoid smoke and any splashing of liquid wax. A candle is finished, and should not be relit, when only 5 mm of wax remains or the metal wick sustainer becomes visible. This is when the second life of the candle begins: the glass containers can be kept and used as you see fit, as bud vases, brush or pencil pots, tealight holders, etc.

Each candle requires months of development and around ten steps to produce. Our candles are meticulously hand-crafted, including adjusting and centering the wicks after the wax has been poured and cutting the wick to a precise height. Each candle is carefully inspected to ensure the fragrance is perfectly rendered. The perfume is made in Grasse, France, by the most prestigious French perfume houses using century-old techniques and expertise. The cotton wick as well as the balance of both perfume and wax in each candle are executed according to strict testing and regulations in France.

It began on a sun-kissed afternoon in Grasse, France, the enchanting capital of perfumes. Known for its rolling lavender fields and fragrant orange groves, Grasse beckoned us with a promise of discovery. As we strolled through its cobblestone streets, the air filled with the sweet, alluring scents of jasmine and rose, we felt an undeniable connection to the art of perfume-making.

Our visit was more than a leisurely escape; it was an immersion into the intricate world of fragrance development. Eager to expand our knowledge, we sought out the renowned perfume houses that dotted the landscape, each steeped in history and expertise. The excitement of learning about the delicate balance of base notes, middle notes, and top notes was palpable as we engaged with master perfumers. They welcomed us into their ateliers, sharing their secrets and the rich traditions that have shaped the perfume industry for centuries.

During our exploration, we found ourselves captivated by the luxurious combination of amber, sandalwood, and vetiver. Under the guidance of some of the world’s most prestigious “noses,” we began to experiment with these exquisite ingredients, each one carefully selected for its unique qualities. Amber’s warm, resinous depth danced beautifully with the creamy, smooth richness of sandalwood, while vetiver added a grounding, earthy touch. It was a symphony of scents, harmonizing into a beautiful melody that would eventually become our signature fragrance, Midnight Amber.Inspired and invigorated, we knew we had to bring this creation to life beyond just a perfume. With dreams swirling in our minds, we partnered with a small, passionate production team just outside Paris, where centuries-old techniques melded with modern craftsmanship. Together, we developed our Midnight Amber candles, infusing each wax vessel with the essence of our journey—the warmth of the amber, the tranquility of sandalwood, and the earthiness of vetiver.As we lit our first candle, the soft flicker of the flame illuminated the room, filling it with a fragrance that whispered tales of our adventure in Grasse.
